A WiMAX enthusiast on his way to check out the coverage in Baltimore noticed that his Nokia N810 WiMAX Tablet suddenly connected to the network in Philly.
If anyone lives in the area and has access to a WiMAX capable device, we'd love to hear your reports! |

| I was able to connect to XOHM in Philadelphia today, but it kept forcing me to the activation page and I'm already activated. I suspect it has something to do with the network here being in flux since it works in DC. |

I live in Delaware (no coverage yet) but work in Plymouth Meeting. I got a samsung card from Newegg and was able to register/activate it. It seems like they are testing signals just off the blueroute around Plymouth Meeting Mall, Sait davids/Villinova, , and Broomall.
The signal in Plymouth Meeting seems to lose connection about every 5 minutes so they must be very early in the testing phase there.
As a side note, I needed to do a firmware upgrade of the samsung in order to get any signal. For folks that are having problems with the card, an upgrade might fix their problem. |

| It looks like they're making progress in Philly. I live in Northern Liberties, just north of Center City. I haven't been able to connect here until just now. As I wrote before, even when I was connecting recently in Center City, I was being forced to the activation page. This connection from home tonight, while not completely stable, let me get onto the Internet just long enough to get 6644k down and 42k up with a 206ms ping. Now, that is a great download speed, but the 42k up is horrendous and I'm just going to chalk it up to the unofficial status of the network in this city. |

| @Jackofall--No, I haven't tried anywhere outside of Philly. I have been out of town a lot lately. I'll try to test more in this area next week. |

Since Friday I haven't been able to get any imternet usage. Friday I could log on , but every page entered resolved to XOHM.com.
Today, I can't get any page to display.
I thought it might be DNS issues so I even changed settings to use OpenDNS but that didn't work either. Is anyone else that had service working experiencing problems now? |
