UPDATE: 03/04/09
Cradlepoint's first official 4G router will be the MBR1100, which also adds secure VPN termination.

Read more in the press release at: http://www.evdoinfo.com/content/view/2670/64/

The MBR1100 is expected to launch in Spring 2009 with MSRP of $349

We're likely to have an online review completed before launch.

Don't get too excited, this first post doesn't bring good news.
Just wanted to let folks who were curious (like me), if the Cradlepoint cellular routers even recognize the Xohm expresscard in any way.

The answer is, nope.

Xohm expresscard does not register any "modem info" at all.
Not even an entry into log file.

Naturally, we are/will be working closely with our engineering friends at cradlepoint to see what we can do to help them along.

Cradlepoint had released a new firmware version for the MBR1000, CTR500, CBA250, and MBR800 routers that provides support for the Clear USB modem, Sprint U300, and ZTE TU25 (the XOHM USB device).

The firmware update is available on 3Gstore (our sister site) via this link:

http://3gstore.com/151

If you already own a Cradlepoint MBR1000/CTR500/CBA250/MBR800, you can simply install the new firmware and you'll be able to share your WiMAX connection!

Beginning today, all orders for these routers from 3Gstore will include a copy of this firmware on CD.
