I have a bit over a week to find my sales receipt and return my expresscard modem for the USB version. I am torn because I think performance has been good, but am always happy to have a faster connection. I wouldn't normally hesitate; however, the USB model is quite sizeable and will almost dwarf my little Kohjinsha SC3 when attached. Even though the expresscard sticks out, it's not as unsightly.
Thoughts? |

just order the usb and make side by side comparisons?
its not like its super expensive, and i believe you end up with ability to return with xx days. |

Just wanted to add in that The XOHM devices are returnable within 30 days.
Full return policy is on the XOHM.com website - you can find it in the FAQ section. _________________ blog.xohm.com |

On what are you basing that statement? I know that the specs are the same, but the article on this site indicates otherwise. I'm just wondering if any readers of this site are seeing similar performance and switching products. |

I don't think you're understanding me here. Contrary to the article prominently displayed on the landing page of this site, I'm seeing very good expresscard performance, even in DC, which is unsupported. For all I know, the USB modem might offer me even better performance. I thought I'd ask around a bit before running back up the highway to trade devices. Do you actually have both devices and where are you using?
As it is, since there isn't much response to this posting, I'm leaning away from exchanging devices. I think the USB version is ungainly in size and while only my SC3 has an expresscard slot, I don't really need this for any other device. |
