Whew... it's been a while since there was anything to discuss in the LTE forums here!!

Verizon Wireless CTO Dick Lynch announced during a speech this week that they are aiming to have their LTE network ready sometime in 2009. This is MUCH sooner than the original estimate of 2010/2011. Can they do it - without the kind of investment help that benefited Sprint/Clearwire?
