I imagine we'll have to wait until LTE is fielded in a similar city to see whether it is cheaper. Otherwise, many of those holding out for LTE will probably switch to WiMAX.

So at that rate of $45 million per city and with $3,200 million sitting in the bank that leaves them with...71 additional cities that they can build out. This of course doesn't include the Sprint built networks that are already up but not "running" in Chicago, Dallas, DC etc or the fact that converting their 50+ pre-wimax cities will be much cheaper since the infrustructure is (should be) already in place. Or the fact that at some point their established cities should start generating more revenue than they cost to operate enabling them to spend more money on other cities.

Obviously big sprawling cities such as LA are going to cost a lot more but you get my point.
