3gg.org is providing technical specification. Referring to doc 36.211 version 8.6 section 6.6.4, I want to know the resource element indices is calculated in MAC scheduler or PHY layer itself.
The formula is mentioned in PHY layer itself. In this point of view its in PHY layer. But on the other hand, PHY shouldn't take care of when and where to send PDUs. So in this angle, MAC is the module.
If anyone could help me in this respect, please provide me. |

Hi
As per my understanding, the RB Index calculation is done in PHY, but this is based on the bit map provided by the higher layers.
so the decision maker is higher layer itself.
Does it give any clarification to your doubt ?
please ping me back, if not
