| I was in Fry's in Austin yesterday and apparently so was clear reps. According to a Fry's employee, they will be setting up a demo in the next couple of days. They also have added to their job postings of an "open house" on October 1st. Does anyone know of a way to find out where the clear towers are located at? I am west of Austin and was kinda hoping I might be in range. |

I' bought the U300 Sprint Broadband card 3 weeks ago and have had limited WiMax coverage in Austin. The coverage is moderately acceptable in the Round Rock/Pflugerville area of Austin, however there's no service coverage anywhere in South Austin. Also Sprint is having issues with the U300 BroadBand Modem and MS Windows 7. No one seems to be able to fix the problem. Such makes your note book perform a data-dump whenever you remove the modem card from the USB port. Anyone else having coverage issues in Austin?

| I have a a friend that said there is now a tower up and running in Oak Hill. I guess they are slowly adding more towers. His girlfriend works for sprint, but is looking elsewhere since they are laying off people. She works at the Bee Caves location. I haven't been in there, but she claims that the demo unit they have set up is pretty fast. |
