|
|
| Quote: | Sprint has finally released SmartView 2.28 for both Windows and Mac OS X. This version adds better stability and support for the new U301 3G/4G Modem. This upgrade will also improve toggling between 3G and 4G networks, as this was an issue with the previous version of SmartView when using the U300.
If you wish to upgrade to version 2.28, you will have to manually download it from the Sprint Downloads page, as it is not being offered via SmartView's auto-update feature.
Beginning on December 21st, 3GStore.com will be shipping this latest version of Sprint's SmartView software for both Windows & Mac OS X with all of their Sprint devices. |
Have you upgraded to the latest version of SmartView software? If so, post your experience with it! |

2.28.0082.0 was automatically downloaded to me about a week ago or so. I recently signed up for 3g/4g combo service, w/U300 and had called tech support because of problems. A day or two later, I automatically got what I thought was a fix, but appeared to be an update, as the layout of the panel is 'new & improved' (HA! )
Not much to say about it, is a bit friendlier, but it didn't fully fix the problem I was having.
Btw, the tech person said Sprint was having growing pains making their stuff work correctly with the Clear 4g network(off of which they piggyback). I'd say that's correct, as I'd switched from Clear 4g to Sprint 4g on this deal. Never had a problem with the Clear side of things. |
