CLEAR has released a new 4G USB modem, the PXU1900. You can read the full specs/details here, but here are the basics:

-Features an improved antenna for enhanced reception

-Flip-up/swivel design

-Compatible with Windows XP/Vista or Mac OS 10.5/10.6

-Compatible with the Cradlepoint PHS300 and MBR1000 routers

The most interesting feature of the PXU1900 is the optional USB Performance Dock accessory, which is used to boost signal/performance. At just $9.99, the Performance Dock is a great accessory, especially for folks on the fringe of 4G coverage.

tMakes quite a noticeable difference. I work in a 911 center (TONS of RF interference), I could get 3-4 "dots" of service with the PXU-1900 clipped on the top of my LCD using a small extension and monitor clip. With the performance dock, full signal.

1-3mbps without dock
6-9mbps with dock
