Accessibility to both live and pre-recorded, on-demand, high quality video content via wireless networks has exploded in popularity within both consumer and corporate markets. This popularity is set to increase exponentially over the coming years. As a result, LTE carriers are presented with a compelling revenue generating opportunity.
Whilst the bandwidth enabled by LTE represents a major step forward in meeting the needs of video, LTE carriers will need to fulfil a number of dependencies core to their network topology to meet the overwhelming demand for live and pre-recorded video through LTE.
Are these dependencies being identified and recognised by the LTE industry? |
