Exciting news - we confirmed today that Verizon is now able to add a static IP address to a 3G/4G line of service!

The cost for the Static IP address is a one-time fee of $500 - once you pay the $500 fee, the static IP address is yours and your monthly bill does not change. To add a static IP address to your Verizon account, simply call Verizon customer service at (800) 922-0204.

That's only partly true. If you use 4G LTE you will be required to convert to a business account and have a minimum of 5 lines. This has just been confirmed with Verizon Wireless. I just asked for a static IP and that is what I was told by 3 different Verizon tech support employees. Just so everyone knows that it isn't as easy as just paying a one time fee of $500. This sucks...I wasn't about to pay for another 4 lines on top of it!
